Dr. Sandy Stewart

Veterinarian

A long-time Atlanta native, Sandy Stewart grew up in Decatur, where she graduated from Redan High School. She attended Duke University for her undergrad and went on to the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. Stewart received her DVM degree from UGA in 1986. She has worked in emergency and critical care and regular practice. While she enjoys all aspects of being a veterinarian, she has a special interest in surgery, critical care, and animal behavior. She especially enjoys getting to know her patients and their owners.

Dr. Stewart is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association.

A native of Norcross, she lives with her husband, two children, three cats, and two dogs, which lead her on a merry chase every time they escape. She has also had bunnies, birds, and fish and strongly recommends all of them to families looking to add a pet.
