Veterinarian
Dr. Karan Hunter joins us after spending the past few years working as a relief veterinarian across North Georgia. She has resided in Georgia for the past 35 years. With a deep-rooted passion for animal welfare and a commitment to excellence, Dr. Hunter graduated from Auburn College of Veterinary Medicine in 1986 with honors. She continually pursues opportunities for growth and specialization. Her additional training in ultrasonography has equipped her with advanced diagnostic skills, enabling her to provide comprehensive care to all of her patients.
Dr. Hunter finds immense fulfillment in the relationships she builds with both her clients and their furry companions with a deep commitment to client education. She believes that a well-informed pet owner is an invaluable partner in maintaining the happiness and vitality of their furry family members. As a Fear-Free Certified practitioner, she prioritizes creating stress-free environments for her patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being during every visit.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Dr. Hunter chooses to indulge in traveling and spending time with her two canine companions. She also has a passion for tennis, although now she mostly just watches as a spectator. She also enjoys spending quality time with her family and delights in the adventures of antiquing, discovering unique treasures from times past.
